President Ramchandra Paudel has been flown to New Delhi, India's capital, for further medical treatment.
According to the President's Secretariat, he was taken to India this morning on a Shree Airlines air ambulance.
President Paudel had been hospitalized at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) in Maharajganj earlier on Tuesday evening due to health issues.
He will be treated at New Delhi's All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).
