Two people were found dead at New Baneshwor, Kathmandu, on Saturday evening.
The bodies of Kishor Bhandari, 42, and his daughter, 7, were discovered at their residence.
According to the police's preliminary investigation, Kishor killed his daughter and then hanged himself.
