Province No. 1, the only province without a formal name, is about to get one.
On Wednesday, the proposal to rename the province No. 1 Koshi was filed with the Parliament Secretariat. It was proposed by Ram Ranamagar of the UML and backed by Bhumi Prasad Rajvanshi of the Congress.
The name had previously been decided upon by the Nepali Congress and the CPN-UML. UML claims that "Koshi" encompasses everyone's identity.
